Rebekah Assid, ISA
Founder and lead appraiser, Rebekah Assid, is a member of the International Society of Appraisers and is recognized by The Appraisal Foundation to produce USPAP-compliant (Uniform Standards for Professional Appraisal Practice) appraisal reports.
She has extensive experience in the research and valuation of fine and decorative arts, antiques, collectibles, and luxury goods. She is trained in industry-standard appraisal methodology and specialized market analysis. Ms. Assid has served professionally as a cataloger and consignment relations manager for international auction, as an apprentice appraiser for estate liquidation services, and as an independent dealer.
Ms. Assid completed her foundational education at the Savannah College of Art & Design with a focus on printmaking and illustration, received her BA in Art History from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga specializing in Modernism and US History, and achieved the Antiques, Furnishings, & Decorative Arts specialty within the International Society of Appraisers.
She is a passionate consumer of antiques and art market knowledge, combining perspectives as a trained artist and a specialized researcher. She is always striving for advanced connoisseurship and accuracy.
